I like the NYT puzzles best – more challenging!
I printed the April 3 puzzle. Just checked and your April 3 is different and smaller. What happened?

The April 3 one I printed that day is bigger, 105 clues across, 94 down. And it is much harder. The April 3 one and consecutive ones are shorter, simple and less challenging. Why change if it weren’t broken?

Sorry we are adding the older version as a ‘alt’ along with the newer format. So you will have both versions daily to print now.
Go back to old format of longer puzzles..and do not repeat last years for this years puzzles…thanks.

Hi, We are trying our best with what we can afford to use. We will try and purchase the other version however as a free site it is difficult.
I don’t mind getting the repeat puzzles. It’s like having to do an exam. (Like, have I learned the clue answer, or must I still check the solution page?) Besides, I’m not going anywhere for a while; I might as well strengthen the Id.

Why did the puzzles all of a sudden get smaller. I liked the Sunday sized puzzles. Now your just like all the other web sites. Please bring back the more challenging larger grid puzzles.
Hello, there are two versions?
Both versions are small grid puzzles
These are the versions we have had for a long time and plus we have added some extra. They print full letter page.
The puzzles I want back are like the ones printed in 2019 and back. They were longer (100 clues down and cross) and more challenging. I appreciate that you now have alternative puzzles for each day but they aren’t as good as your old ones.
I don’t know because up until 2 weeks ago the puzzles had 20-25 squares going across and the same going down similar to sunday sized puzzles. Now they are 13 across and 13 down just like the daily sized ones.

If I complete my selection before a weeks worth has accumulated, then I reach back to somewhere 2019. I just like doing crossword puzzles and listening & dancing to jazz music.Ahh, good music and crossword puzzles = relaxation & meditation & exercise. I just wanted to share with you that I work for a long term care pharmacy that services over 182 facilities. There is an abundance of residents that are basically ‘locked’ in their rooms unable to do any socializing with friends or family face to face. This makes it very hard on them when they need to know someone cares for them. We are putting together a supply packages for them to keep them entertained, if even for a short time. As you know, buying crossword or color book can be pricey with that much need. I truly appreciate you and your wonderful team for making these great looking crossword puzzle pages and for FREE too!! You all are a blessing as I copied Aprils crossword puzzles and plan to put in a binder to hand out to the facilities for the patients. I also plan on getting some of your word finds too. So not only will the patients see who made the puzzles, the facilities or patients may continue to down more. I know I plan on continuing to make these books until they can be released out of their rooms. So I want you all to know how much of a blessing you are to me to find your free puzzles but to all the thousands of patients that will be getting your puzzles!!!
