Cryptograms

In cryptogram puzzles, you are given sentences in which one set of letters is substituted for another. The words are in their right order with a space after each.
An example puzzle might be: A BIG CAT with encryption letters of M HWX UMT. Here, M is substituted for A, H for B, W for I, and so forth. You can break each code by studying the frequency of certain letter or the way they are grouped. You know that single letters are usually an A or an I, and that the words THE and AND occur very often in our language. Try IS, IT, Of and other common words for the two- letter groups.

If you decide that certain letters you have chosen are incorrect, type over the letter of DELETE if from the answer. Use the TAB and ARROW keys to navigate from word to word.

If you are stuck, the HINT button may be clicked 3 times. When there are three minutes left in the game, the game will identify “useless letter” every 30 seconds and remove them from the board. A “useless letter” is one that does not appear in the answer. Good Luck!
