I have seen a lot of complaining and rudeness on this site through the years. I am so sorry that people are so entitled and not appreciative of all you do. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the crossword puzzles and all you do to get them to us. I have never complained to you and never will. I am retired and 82 years old. These crosswords help to keep my mind sharp and I enjoy them very much. Thank you for all your work to get them to us.

  6. I enjoy the puzzles very much. Thank you for providing the free puzzles. Why is the puzzle for 8/23 in a different format? It has many more clues than the previous puzzles. Can you please fix it? Thank you

I love your puzzles and have been solving them for years. I also very much appreciate the more complex ones that have many clues – I find it very challenging, so please include more of those! Thank you!

  9. Most of the time when I print one of your puzzles, everything fits on the page. However, sometimes (such as the entire month of August), the puzzles are just slightly too large to fit so the left edges disappear. They are still workable but a bit annoying. I haven’t found out how to know in advance what will happen before printing so I go ahead and print anyway and hope for the best. Can you explain this issue? Thanks.

For some reason, the puzzles from some creators are over-sized for the page and encroach on the 1/4″ space where most printers can’t print, for example those in August by Timothy E. Parker. I finally just figured out a solution that works for me. I use Firefox for this website. By using the Firefox settings, I was able to tell Firefox to open the PDF files in Adobe Acrobat Reader, instead of within Firefox itself. In Acrobat the print dialogue has an option to scale oversized pages to fit, which works perfectly. For some reason, the scaling in the print dialogue within Firefox doesn’t do anything – the pages always print large. Hope this helps. I should think this method would work in other browsers as well.
