  1. Norma Crown says:

When I attempted to print the puzzle, I received the following message
“HTTP403 Forbidden web site declined to show web page. For more information about HJTTP errors see help. Internet Explorer does not have permission to view the page. How do I get it to have permission to do so?

  2. Catherine Carpenter says:

Problem: today’s puzzle will not print; screem comes up saying “webside declkines to print”
Second time this has happened. Can you fix?

  3. Yesterday and today after I selected Crossword Puzzles, waited for the puzzle to load, and clicked on the blue “Click here to play your puzzle,” I got a blank white space, no puzzle.

  4. Catherine Carpenter says:

Same problem of “website declines to show this”; please fix. Thanks.

    • Crossword Lover says:

      Hi Catherine,

We don’t have anyone else reporting this problem. Can you please try and load this in another browser?

  6. Wish I could check my answers for Tues., 9-16, but shows answers for today’s (9-17) puzzle; which BTW is labeled as Friday….. Can you ‘fix’, please….thanks!

  7. The 16ths puzzle did not print. It is now the 17ths puzzle as is the 17th. (both the same). The 18th puzzle is something historically different. HELP!

    • Crossword Lover says:

Hi Ken, please load the 16th puzzle again (you will need to refresh your browser). Yes we have a new crossword format now!

  8. Still the same

  9. Yes, it shows the 16th but prints the 17th

    • Crossword Lover says:

oh strange, might be printer memory or something, never seen that before. perhaps try and print another date first then try again.

  10. Like the new format, less ink. No download or printing problems.

  11. After testing new format – I do not like it. Too many gaps not connecting to make words.

  12. Don’t like this new format at all. I want the old puzzles back!!

  13. First, the new daily crossword is not very good. The puzzles edited by Timothy Parker were great – suggest you go back to the old way. Also, where are the other puzzles from USA & LA?????

    • Crossword Lover says:

Hi Anne, Unfortunately we are unable to provide any USA today crosswords anymore, however we are working on delivering the LA times and the universal crosswords back as soon as possible.

  14. I agree with Albert about the gaps. Also I prefer the old version because I like the ones with titles and a theme. The old ones were a bit more of a challenge, which I liked better. Just my two cents.

I appreciate your work posting these puzzles, by the way. I love crosswords and it’s nice to be able to print off a puzzle each morning to solve 🙂

  15. Don’t care for the new format. Love the crossword site though!

  16. Don’t like the new format at all.

  17. Judy Sheridan says:

I do not like the new version of the crossword puzzle. Hope you bring back the original soon.

    • Crossword Lover says:

Hi, we appreciate your feedback, we endeavor to bring back the older format as soon as we can. We appreciate your support through this transition period.

  18. The new format and its recent supplementation is not challenging enough. The previous format was just about right. Please keep looking for alternatives. I come to this site every day and look forward to this “anti-alzheimer’s tool”. Thank you

  19. I would like to voice my displeasure with the new format as well. It is not challenging at all. I agree with all that has been said, and I hope you bring back the old version soon!

    • Crossword Lover says:

Hi Kate, thank you for your comments, we are working on returning the original crossword format back as soon as possible. We thank you for your support during this difficult period.

  20. Please bring back the “old” puzzles edited by Timothy Parker! They were fun and challenging!!
